• amazing place!

  i can't stress how much i enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. Poons Gosforth Palace was fantastic for a night out! the place itself is great! Its an old cinema with easy access for the disabled or infirm. However the staff are willing to help - i saw them go to the aid of an elderly gentleman. Its so refreshing to see staff rush to someones aid who may not even need it! Thats the kind of service you can expect here. The food choice is varied and there is lots of choice. The food itself tastes fabulous, far better than their competitors. However don't expect much change, its not cheap!

• Excellent, Everytime!

  5 Stars to Poons Gosforth Palace!I can't stress how fantastic this place is.Located on Salters Road, Gosforth, there is parking just over the road from the restaurant.The building itself I believe used to be a cinema beforehand and although there is a big staircase to climb, there is a stairlift fitted.The staff are so friendly and accommodating and are happy to help with the menu.I would highly recommend their banquets and definately their king prawns. Their prawn toast is amazing also!Not the cheapest of nights out but then excellent for special occassions, be it a couple or a group.I can't wait to return!
