• Poor quality bridal lace

  I ordered lace here for my wedding dress. I paid over £122/metre and expected it to be flawless (I needed 6 metres in total). I was given faulty lace that impacted significantly on the style of the dress, particularly the train. This was not noticed until we started making the dress, but there arrows all over the lace marking the faults, so Dainty were aware of it. They offered no compensation or refund for this and I had to chase them up to get any response from them. They did offer to replace parts of the lace, not all of it, but due to the time scale of the wedding, this was not acceptable as there wasn't time for the dress maker to wait for part replacement. They delayed us for 2 weeks before offering this option as they did not get back to me following my complaint. Overall I was very disappointed, and it just added to the stress of the wedding. Definitely check any fabric before you purchase it from Dainty. Wouldn't recommend them for bridal lace again.

  Excellent for wedding fabrics, patterns, all kinds of fabrics except curtain materials. Loads of crafts, cross stitch, card making, ribbons, bias binding, soft toys, fleeces, faux furs. quilting squares etc.
