Perhaps THE best boozer in Tyneside

This pub was until recently a "brewery tap". Owned by the Jarrow Brewery who until recently brewed on the premesis, (the brewing operation has just moved a few miles up the road to South Shields) it does offer some marvellous real ales, all brewed by owners as well as the usual premuim bottled beers and lagers. It is withut doubt everyones favouite secret, being as it is off the beaten track. Also boasts a fine restaurant to the rear. Well worth a visit - let a nominated driver get you there and back.
