High Keenley Fell Farm, is situated in a stunning position in the rolling hills of the beautiful Allen Valley, which is within the North Pennines and has wonderful views across the Roman Wall Country and up to the Scottish Boarders. The B&B rooms are in an attractive, recently converted, traditional Northumbrian stone barn set around a courtyard.The farm stands within an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and is also participating in the Countryside Stewardship Scheme which helps create the ideal environment for the natural flora and fauna within the area. In the spring and summer you will find a vast number of ground nesting birds, including rare black (cock) grouse, snipe and he distinctive curlews with their haunting cry. As High Keenley is a working livestock farm there are also plenty of sheep and cattle!
