Welcome to St Cuthbert’s House - a truly unique place to stay, in the heart of the beautiful and historic Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. St Cuthbert's House is a former Presbyterian church building, built in 1810. It's in the quiet hamlet of North Sunderland, adjacent to the popular village of Seahouses, on the Northumberland coast.We’ve renovated this historic former church, to create a luxurious and beautifully designed house for up to twelve people. It’s a Grade II 'listed building', with its charm and history preserved - but the renovation has enabled us to incorporate some luxurious touches into the six ensuite bedrooms, (which have SuperKing-size double beds) and the beautiful, functional living spaces. The house is so much more than simply a place to stay…it’s a place to inspire and stir you, and to provide a memorable experience of hospitality.Jill’s fantastic breakfasts will set you up for the longest of days. They can be enjoyed with a clear conscience too – they’re even ‘healthy’ as we never fry anything, and we use only the very best locally sourced food. Special note for divers: we have only very limited facilities suitable for you (and your gear!) It is essential that you call us on 01665 720456 before making a booking if you’re coming to dive. If you do not do so, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. We are a Non-Smoking property. We cannot have your pets to stay. We can accommodate children over 12 years of age.
